Flowers that honor the life of a loved one are deeply personal, and offering them in a shoppable catalog here on this site seems somehow inappropriate for something so sacred. For reference, most casket covers cost between $300 and $500 depending on the size of the arrangement and the flowers used. While I am comfortable working with roses, chrysanthemums, and other more traditional flowers, I also welcome requests for the unexpected and unconventional. I often use local flora, including citrus, palm, nopal, and wildflowers in honoring loved ones. I am often asked for guidance on funeral flowers, and this is my most frequently shared observation: standing sprays are usually left behind after services are over. They are cumbersome and difficult to transport, and- perhaps because they are so exclusively associated with funerals- they are rarely taken home. That said, standing sprays can be impressive-looking, and I gladly put them together when clients request them specifically. For reference, small sprays start at $175 while larger arrangements are $350 and up. 

A wreath is a beautiful way to express sympathy and honor the life of a loved one. Wreaths can be made with a full 360 degrees of flowers and greens or created on grapevine and left unflowered in places. Small wreaths are built on a 10” diameter form and start at $125, while large, 24”-diameter, fully flowered wreaths are $350 and up. Wreaths are delivered on an easel but can be easily removed should the recipients want to take theirs home and place it on a tabletop. 

The most diverse category of sympathy arrangements, this one is exceptionally customizable and is both my most highly recommended and most frequently requested format. Some clients even bring in their own sentimentally significant vessels for flowering. For reference, small arrangements in vases start at $55, while baskets, bowls and trays are generally $175 and up. The wide, flat, stable bottoms of many of these vessels make them easy to transport, meaning the family can take them home following services. With a little bit of water added to the arrangement, the flowers should last close to a week or more.
